Brown/Pkwre/[937]257-2698 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This RFQ has the following line item:F-16 System Program Office (ASC/YP) requires support to provide Internet service for International Military Customers (IMC) within the F-16 SPO, consisting of 2 primary sites: ASC/YP at WPAFB,OH and OO-ALC/LF, Hill AFB,UT. Internet Service:Provide ASC/YP and OO-ALC/LF IMC with continual, reliable service. Ensure IMC have a commercial IP address restricting access to US Military web sites; proposed addresses should end with ".com", ".org", or ".int". Email addresses ending with ".mil" are unacceptable. Hardware Installation:Provide hrdware required to provide private 1,500 Kbps service for IMC, assisting with installation. Hardware will consist of any routers, hubs, or other connection points/lines necessary. Implementation Spt: Monitor the performance of this equip to ensure proper access to IMC. Integrate LAN hardware/software with existing Network, monitoring recently installed server plant upgrade, centralized CD-ROM tower system, GroupWise Email and Scheduling syst, & remote login syst to include outgoing fax capability. Integration reqmts include connectivity & compatibility with F-16 operating locations at WPAFB & Hill AFB. Set up/provide assistance to configure/install hardware for use by F-16 personnel on the YP/LF Netwrks. Maint/Logistics Spt:Schedule/monitor LAN hrdware maint..receiving call for maint, trouble-shooting, & scheduling required maint requested by F-16 SPO. Syst Interface/Comm Spt-Identify & analyze computer interface/commm for F-16 team and international LAN.
