The Federal Correctional Institution at Sheridan, Oregon, intends to upgrade the on-site Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) environmental controls system. The environmental controls system is Robertshaw now Siebe Environmental Controls. Upgrade of the HVAC system will include, but is not limited to, firmware upgrade/installations for 13 Robertshaw DMS 350A panels, 14 Distributed Control Module (DCM) panels, and 122 Robertshaw DMS slave panels; replacement of the host computer system; and system programming and training. The government intends to contract this procurement with Control Contractors, Inc., the authorized local Siebe Environmental Controls office. The Government knows of no other source and believes this procurement is proprietary to Siebe Environmental Controls. This is a Simplified Acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested firms should submit in writing, their name, address, point of contact telephone number, business size, a brief statement regarding capability to provide the specified procurement, and points of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which it has previously provided this type of procurement. All responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
