The Defense Finance & Accounting Service (DFAS) has the following announcement: interested sources are sought to perform Defense Commisary Agency (DeCA) accounting at DFAS Columbus Center (DFAS-CO) for the Accounting Directorate. The solicitation issued date is 9/21/98. This procurement is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is determined to be more economical, the solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded.
