MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING PRIVATIZATION AT DYESS AFB INDUSTRY FORUM DYESS AIR FORCE BASE HOUSING PRIVATIZATION INDUSTRY FORUM Air Combat Command and Dyess Air Force Base will hold an Industry Forum at the Abilene Civic Center, 1100 North Sixth St., Abilene, Texas, Oct. 22-23. Each day's session begins at 8:30 a.m. The purpose of the forum is to seek feedback from parties interested in providing quality, affordable housing for Dyess AFB military families. To this end, the Air Force is pursuing a privatization project (as provided by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1996) requiring the successful offeror to finance, plan, design, construct, own, operate, maintain, manage and rent approximately 402 housing units to military families stationed in Abilene.
