COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF SEPTEMBER 21,1998 PSA#2184INDUSTRIAL WASTE TREATMENT FACILITY (DRY SCRUBBER) The Engineering
Field Activity Chesapeake intends to construct Industrial Waste
Treatment Facility, Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center,
Indian Head, MD. Construction proposal documents require identification
of a Dry Scrubber System which is designed to meet the requirements of
the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) to reduce toxic emissions by
85%. To reduce this increase in emission of hydrogen chloride, the
NSWC is adding a dry scrubber system to the Industrial Waste Treatment
Facility's existing air pollution control equipment. Equipment must be
installed without encountering unnecessary substantial modifications to
the proposals in accordance with the construction RFP (request for
proposal) documents. Written qualification statements clearly
establishing the capability to meet the above requirements must be
submitted within 15 days from the date this notice is published. In the
absence of interest, it is the intent of the agency to award the
construction contract identifying Bundy Environmental Technologies
Inc., Reynoldsberg, OH as the brand product within the construction
proposal documents as no other type of equipment will satisfy the
agency minimum requirements.***** Posted 09/17/98 (W-SN251205). Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0605 19980921\SP-0007.MSC)
