The required work encompasses but is not limited to the following work: Demolish existing storm doors, front, rear and utility room exterior wood door and sliding patio doors, frames and trim and existing window sashes; install new steel doors, wood frames or steel frames as designated, hardware, trim and storm doors in existing openings; install new aluminum sliding glass door units and trim in existing openings; install new aluminum windows and trim in existing openings; and finishes, including new wood trim profiles and paint, to match existing. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price requirements type contract with a base bid and option items. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 14 Oct 98 and bid opening will be held on or about 13 Nov 98. Estimated cost of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
