70 -- HAARDWARE EQUIPMENT SOL dca20098m0692 DUE 092198 POC catherine storey 618-229-9704 fax 618-229-9592 70-The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to procure the following itms for the Defense Megacenter St. Louis: one (1) StorageTek (STK) 4490 controller (STK 4490-M30) and two (2) STK 36-track tape drives (STK 4490-M34) along with deinstallation of existing 4480 tape drives and cotroller (STK 4480-M20, 4480-M24) at DMC St. Louis. Contractor shall install new or warranted as new (eligible for OEM maintenance) 4490 controller and 4490 tape drives in the same location as the removed 4480 controller and tape drives. Delivery, removal and installation will be completed at: DMC -- St. Louis, Bldg 103, 4300 Goodfellow Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63120. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis canot be considered a Request for Quotation/Proposals.
