This acquisition is for the Direct Vendor Delivery of an UGR-A module containing a full complement of semi-perishable, frozen and disposable items for one menu to feed 50 soldiers. The UGR-A consists of 5 breakfast and 10 lunch/dinner menus. This acquisition is for an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for a one-year base period with 4 one-year option periods. There are five proposed regions composed of the following projected 17 installations -- Northwestern Region: Ft. Lewis, WA; Southwestern Region: Ft. Irwin, CA and Ft. Hauchuca, AZ; Central Region: Ft. Hood and Ft. Bliss, TX, Ft. Sill, OK, Ft. Polk, LA, Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Ft. Riley, KS; Southeastern Region: Ft. Stewart and Ft. Gordon, GA, Ft. Benning, AL, Ft. Jackson, SC, Ft. Bragg, NC, and Ft. Campbell and Ft. Knox, KY; and the Northeastern Region: Ft. Drum, NY. The estimate base and option period quantities for this acquisition are between 8,000 to 200,000 per installation. Delivery of the base quantity is from May 1999 through April 2000.
