1998 INSENSITIVE MUNITIONS & ENERGETIC MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials Technology Symposium, November 16 -- 19, 1998, San Diego Princess Resort, San Diego, California. The Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials Division and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Insensitive Munitions Information Center (NIMIC) present this joint industry and government symposium to explore munitions technologies and approaches which enhance the survivability of military platforms and their logistic tail. The theme for this year's symposium is "New Materials/New Solutions". This unclassified program will be conducted over three days and will feature multiple topic areas tailored to provide significant details in technology advancements from both US Government services, international government organizations and private industry. Rear Admiral William W. Cobb, Jr., Commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center and Naval Ordnance Command will give the Keynote Address. Personnel will give other presentations from the NIMIC, France, SouthAfrica, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Norway and Japan.
