SOLE SOURCE The General Services Administration/Office of Investigations intends to procure a sole source. In response to an increase of shooting incidents involving othe Federal and local law enforcment agencies where both automatic and semi-automatic firearims are involved, the OIG deteremined there isa need to upgrade the firearms currently in use by its special agents. our intent is to acquire the latest technology in one-shot stop capability and increae firepower. SIGARMS developed the amunication that has one shot stop capability and developed the two firearms.
