Middleton, Contracting Officer, (410) 462-6499, Fax (410) 762-6056 The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following Hose Assemblies used on U.S. Coast Guard Loran Systems: NSN 4720-01-356-0161, Quantity 10 ea.; NSN 4720-01-356-0162 Quantity 20 EA.; NSN 4720-01-356-0163 Quantity 10 EA. All Hose Assemblies to be manufactured in accordance with Drawing No. 52100-1066-02A, ITT Drawing No. 1096240G1. Commercial Testing at 250 PSI to be witnessed by USCG QA Personnel. Contractor shall be required to submit a pre-production sample for each item. Full production will not be authorized until samples have been tested and found acceptable. if acceptable, samples will be considered as a partial delivery. It is the Government's belief that only Auster Rubber Company, an authorized distributor for Imperial Eastman, has successfully manufactured these Hose Assemblies for the Government. However, other sources can submit verification of their capabilities in successfully manufacturing these Hose Assemblies. Concerns that respond to this Notice must fully demonstrate their capability by submitting the following information: (1) Data that the the Hose Assemblies have been successfully manufactured for the manufacturer and/or the Government which includes complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered Hose Assemblies (i.e., physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics); and (2) Data that the required Hose Assemblies have been previously provided to the Original Equipment Manufacturer or the Government. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION SHALL BE FIFTEEN CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED IN THE CBD.
