Los Alamos National Laboratory is interested in locating qualified organizations with experience in providing hardware, software maintenance, and per call repairs on all new and existing Laboratory owned analytical Hewlett-Packard equipment in proper working condition and in accordance with the original manufactures operating specifications. Provide a sufficient number of local service engineers to perform maintenance as required, and possess a Q and/or L clearance, or the ability to be granted a Q or L clearance. However, the Laboratory has the right to grant a lesser clearance classification at any time. It is the intent of the Laboratory to issue an RFP for a multi year contract if there are organizations that express interest and demonstrate ability as a result of this request. As a result of an award the successful organization will be required to prepare and upgrade a current annual equipment listing with the name and organization of the Laboratory custodian responsible for that piece of equipment. The equipment listing shall be up-graded annually sixty days prior to negotiation of the contract for that year. The Laboratory is funded annually, therefore current cost and program codes will be required each year corresponding to the Laboratory custodian responsible for his equipment and made part of the equipment list. This will facilitate expedited payment to the successful organization for services rendered. There is approximately fifty (50) pieces of equipment of various types.
