This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-98-118(EM) this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-06. Standard Industrial Classification Code 3599 applies. **Provide your written offeror, as well as a copy of descriptive literature for product evaluation for the following item: Three (3) ea, Automatic Tagging Units; Model No. MKIV, or equal, with the following minimum salient features: Three (3) automatic tagging unit injector version 4.4, with quality control device, power supply, tool kit, touch switch and three non-custom head molds. Two (2) handheld wand detector with case and holster. FOB destination to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Sac/S.J. Estuary FRO, 4001 N. Wilson Way, Stockton, California. Offerors shall also be responsible for submitting all additional information on the above product necessary for the Government to determine whether the product offered meets the salient characteristics of the "brand name" as listed in this solicitation.
