Notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Government anticipates entering into sole source procurement with Deya Elevator Service, Inc., 1913 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Santurce, PR 00936-2411; for the overhaul of three (3) dumbwaiters, manufactured by D.A. Matot, Inc. capacity 500 lb. each, 5HP, 300FPM, 10 stops. Contractor shall provide all labor, direct material, parts, facilities, test equipment and services to accomplish the overhaul. Deya Elevator Service, Inc. is presently performing preventive maintenance and repairs on this equipment. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 and under Commercial Item Acquisition, FAR Part 12.
