commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition
Regulation Subpart 12.6 for commercial items as supplemented with
additional information included in the notice. A combination of
commercial and NAF provisions and clauses shall be used for the
solicitation and contract. In any circumstances where FAR provisions
and clauses conflict with NAF provisions and clauses, the NAF
provisions and/or clause will take precedent. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and
a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued
as a Request for Quote. Solicitation number F05611-98-T-1836. This
solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 98-07 The Standard
Industrial Classification Number is 5087 and the business Size Standard
is 500 employees. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained
in provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items. The
proposed contract action listed here is for a Small Business set-aside.

Manufacture: Kaemam, model 970-S, Alea wet stations with sink and
hardware, Alea shampoo Maple sugar units with #3000 bowl Adobe 700
fixture and diverter. Designed to fit back against the wall and shampoo
from the side pre-drilled from the inside to bolt additional units

Quartet Barber stations with #3000 bowls, 700 fixtures with diverter,

Designed to fit back against the wall and must be pre-drilled from
inside to bolt additional units together. Contractor will perform
special cut out needs. Cut outs are to be done on site, at the time of
installation, to include cut out for vacuum system 4"x 2", single 4"
x 2"toggle switch with a three prong outlet, a 2 " door handle for a 1
" vacuum hose storage. Quantity 14 (fourteen). Unit Price

constructed of 48 LB industrial board, .335 thickness high-pressure
laminate interior and exterior. All doors with continuous hinges and
magnetic catches. Upper storage unit will have 2 adjustable shelves;
lower storage unit will have 2 adjustable shelves. Unit Price

of above line items. Contractor must give advance three weeks notice
before commencement of installation. Total of two locations: 1st
location, Vandenberg beauty shop, Cadet Drive, Vandenberg Hall Building
# 2360 Room # 3C29, and Vandenberg Barber Shop, Cadet Drive,Vandenberg
Hall Building #2360 Room #3C30, 2nd location: Sijan Barber Shop,
Faculty Drive, Sijan Hall Building #2348 Room # 3A35. Installation must
be completed at 1st location before start of installation at the 2nd
location. One of the two locations must be in operation at all times.
Government delays may occur up to three weeks at a time due to
coordination with Civil Engineering to hook up the electrical and
plumbing. Government Representative form the Barber shop will
coordinate with Civil Engineering. No storage location will be
available. The contractor is responsible for the expense of storage and
location if necessary. Contractor isresponsible for disposal of the old
stations. Contractor will install new stations. Special cut out needs
will be the responsibility of the contractor. Total Price

0006: Trade in allowance: Following items are to be removed and will
become the property of the Contractor: 14 Belvedere Barber Stations,
laminate black with gold trim, 19" W x 19" L x 9" Dcast Iron enameled
beige sinks and diverters. Height 33", length 59", depth 23". Left
storage cabinets: one 15 " x 22" flip down door, one side opening 20"
x 23" with shelf, Right storage cabinets: one 15 " x 22" flip down
door, one slide out drawer 5' x 22", one flip down door 15" x 22", two
double electric outlets and on single electric outlet. Approximately
14 years in age, condition of stations fair with some minor laminate
damages and broken hinges. No mirrors. Beauty shop stations: Belvedere?
Laminate Golden Oak, 19" w x 19" l x 9" d, cast iron enameled beige
sinks and diverters, height36", l 53", depth 53", depth 15", clean
towel storage with flip down door 18" x 14", 2 curling iron and blower
dryer storage, one 4 plug electric outlet, flip down lid to cover
sink, one 24" x 12" slide out drawer, One double door storage cabinet
15" x 24" with shelf condition of stations fair with some minor
laminate damage and broken hinges. No mirrors. Credit for the Collected

Standard commercial warranty. Total of six Barber stations from line
item 0003 to be delivered to the Sijan Location. Line items 0001, 0002,
line item 0004 and eight of line item 0003 to be delivered to
Vandenberg location. A site visit will be 01 OCT 98 at 1:30 PM call Sgt
Vaccarella or Myrtice Moeglein to schedule. (phone numbers listed
below). FOB Destination. Delivery of items shall be accomplished
between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM local time, Monday through Friday. No
deliveries to be made on Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays.
