Agency has a requirement for a Gerstel Thermal Desorption Unit or
Equivalent Equipment: 1. CIS 3-TDS A Bundle contains: Gerstel cooled
injection system programmable temperature inlet with septemless heal
for 0.64mm OD, dome tip needle, linear heating from 0.5 to 12 c/sec.,
with 2 programmable temperature ramps; (split/splitless, solvent vent
and solvent vent initial temperature 150 C); peltier cooling to 30 C
which includes: 2. 505 Controller, hand held key-pad, capillary column
connection for 0.32mm ID column, flow control with back pressure
regulation, external start cable, 10ul Gerstel syringe, start-up kit &
manual 3. Gerstel MASter software rev.2.0 to control all MAS-Modules
except MCS-A; includes CIS 3 license. Needs Microsoft Windows
environment, includes RS-232 connecting cable 4. ThermoDeorption
System, adds thermal desorption capability to the CIS inlet, manual
single shot operation, desorption temperature -50 C to +350 C, dynamic
desorption flow, desorption insplit or splitless mode, temperature
program rate: 1 to 60 C/min., uses CIS as a cryotrap to -150 C 5.
ThermoDesorption Autosampler adds autosampling capability to the TDS-2,
.20 sample capacity, tube size 7"x " 6. Installation and
Familiarization for two (2) days. The above-noted equipment MUST meet
the following specifications: thermal desorption and an inert gas to
remove simi-volatile pollutants from soil and other solid samples
instead of volatile solvents, and puts the contaminants directly into
a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometry system. Also must have field
analytical option available. This procurement is being conducted under
the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR 13. This is NOT A
