HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE IT EXPOSITION On Wednesday, October 21, 1998, Holloman Air Force Base will be hosting a Technology Expo ON-SITE from 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. This event is being promoted to ALL Personnel at the base including the 49th Fighter Wing and other technical tenants such as The Air Force Space Forecast Center and Defense Mapping Agency. NCSI's last event at this very Technical Location had 350 Attendees, with 292 Attendee Sign-Ins!!!! We are looking forward to another successful event this year!!! Some technologies of interest for this event include, Plotters, Internet/Intranet, Multimedia, CD-ROM, Telecommunications, Virtual Reality, Scanners, LAN/WAN, Color Printers, Imaging, Storage Devices, Presentation Systems, Facsimile Machines, Workstations, Laptops/Notebooks, Macintosh Systems and Software, Project Management, Testing Equipment, and Network Security. Holloman Air Force Base is home to the 49th Fighter Wing. Their Mission is to support National Security objectives as directed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The 49th Wing can rapidly mobilize and deploy f-117 Stealth Fighters and personnel worldwide to meet peacetime and wartime contingencies.
