D -- DOW JONES PUBLICATION SERVICES DUE 092898 POC Marva Delissa Brown The Patent and Trademark Office intends to issue to Dow Jones Interactive Publishing, a sole source purchase order to purchase a renewal of Dow Vision Basic Service via NewsEdge Interactive Publishing for the Dow Vision Basic Service news tool. The Dow Vision service, which is provided to the PTO through Dow Jones Interactive Publishing is a remote, third party database that consists of periodicals and news sources. The Dow Jones agreement gives the PTO access to "real time" news wire services and "pre-publication" periodicals. The period of performance for this acquisition is 10/1/98 through 9/30/99.
