The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking interested sources capable of supplying all services and facilities necessary to perform intensive DLM (process for airframe, component, and system inspection, and deficiency identification and correction to ensure safe and realiable operation throughout the service period). Effort includes the repair and overhaul of selected airframe components; on and off site depot level maintenance, repair and modification; design and manufacture of H-3 modification kits; manufacture of make at depot source coded parts; and engineering services in support of the H-3 program. Turn-around-time for Navy requirements is 180 calendar days, FMS is 270 calendar days. Facilities must be able to accommodate up to 15 aircraft in work at one time. Government will provide necessary support equipment. Contractor will be required to obtain all direct material through the Navy supply system.
