George, Contract Specialist, (805) 989-1913 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), Point Mugu, CA intends to modify contract #N68936-96-D-0104 with Raytheon Systems Company. This is a sole source contract which currently provides technical engineering services to the F-14 Weapons Systems Support Activity (WSSA). The modification will add technical engineering services to the F-18 WSSA. The scope of the work for the F-18 WSSA includes design and development of radar system enhancements for new tactical capabilities, flight test aircraft and laboratories and maintenance and repair of radar assets in the F/A-18 Advanced Weapons Laboratory. In addition, the scope includes analytical support of NAWCWPNS data reduction operations for Raytheon designed instrumentation and support for radar and radar interface Operational Flight Program performance testing. The current contract will remain as a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort, Indefinite Delivery contract.
