The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma will recieve bids for the construction of a water tank and appurtenances facility to serve the Iowa Tribal lands. The description of work consists of furnishing all labor equipment, materials and incidentals in connection with constructing a water tank and appurtenances in the area indicated on the construction drawings and in strict accordance within the drawings and specifications. SMALL BUSINESS AND MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESS SOURCES ARE ENCOURAGED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT. A bid guarantee(in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to the Iowa Tribe), irrevocable letter of credit; U.S. Government bonds; or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder in an amount equal to five percent(5% of the bid) is required. Each bid submitted is also required to contain, estimated cost breakdown, seperating materials and labor. IMPORTANT-SURETY COMPANIES EXECUTING BONDS MUST APPEAR ON THE TREASURY DEPARTMENTS MOST CURRENT LIST AND BE AUTHORIZED TO TRANSACT BUSINESS IN THE STATE WHERE THE PROJECT IS LOCATED. The contract documents may be examined and copies may be obtained upon payment of $10.00 for each set at the following location; Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, Rt1, Box 721, Perkins, OK 74059 (405) 547-2402; Iowa Tribal Complex located on the west side of State HWY 177, approximately 4 miles South Perkins. The contract documents will not be refunded. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma shall receive sealed bids until Oct. 8, 1998, 4:30PM, and then at said office, bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud on Oct. 9, 1998 at 10:00AM. The incoming bids shall be marked on the outside of the envelope a "BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER TOWER AND APPURTANCES ON THE NE CORNER OF 160 ACRE TRACT AS SHOWN ON ATTACHMENT A OF THE IOWA TRIBE OF OKLAHOMA"; If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma at P.O.
