76 -- CIVILIAN ENTERPRISE POST GUIDE PUBLICATION SOL DABT23-98-R-0044 DUE 111798 POC Contract Specialist Paul Avery (502) 624-8069 (Site Code DABT23) The Fort Knox Public Affairs Office (PAO), which provides oversight and final approval authority for installation news and editorial content, is seeking sources for the Civilian Enterprise (CE) post guide publication. The CE guide is printed and distributed by civilian printers annually under contract with the Fort Knox installation. The news and editorial content is approved and provided by the PAO. Prospective CE publishers sell advertising to cover costs and secure earnings and print the publication, as no appropriated or nonappropriated funds can be used to pay for any part of the publication and printing process. The contract requires the printing and distribution of a minimum of 5,000 printed and 5,000 CD ROM copies of the guide without the phone directory, and 6,500 printed and 2,500 CD ROM copies of the guide with the phone directory.
