Carolyn Schwierk, schwierk@pica.army.mil. The US Army TACOM-ARDEC,
Picatinny Arsenal intends to acquire under the authority of 6.302-1,
Only One Responsible Source, for Documentation of the aimpoint analysis
on the Wide Area Munition Yuma Live Fire Tests in a formal Analysis
Report (DI-MISC-80508). Collect and format the launch parameters for
the 14 Camera Aimpoint System (CAS) Aimpoint tests, and perform the
necessary analysis to determine Sublet Sensor-Target Intercept Geometry
(STIG). Documentation should include both the launch parameters and the
intercept parameters used and indicate their source (data or STIG
Model). These should include the Slant Range, Approach Angle and Miss
Distance that ARDEC uses. Using the TSC Sublet Sensor Simulation,
analyze the 14 CAS Aimpoint Tests to assess reasonableness of the
measured (i.e. as tested) data against simulation based expectations.
Documentation of the analysis, including plots of the actual hitpoints
vs. the expected population shall be included. Review results with
PM-MCD and ARDEC and iterate analysis if required. Document results of
the 14 CAS Aimpoint Analysis in a formal Analysis Report
(DI-MISC-80508). SEE Note 22. Posted 09/25/98 (D-SN254649). (0268) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0005 19980929\B-0002.SOL)
