This Synopsis/solicitation document incorporate the provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisiition Circular 9706. This is a small business set aside. The SIC code for this procurement is 5812 with a corresponding size standard of 15m. The Idaho Army National Guard intends to procure contract meals. The proposed contract is multiyear (base year 1 Nov 98 31 Oct 99 plus four option years: estimated meals are 55,000135,000 per year consisting of breakfast, lunch, dinner. The contractor would be required to provide, prepare all food items. The government will provide the facility and equipment that is plumbed, wired and/or considered permanent real property. To compensate for food cost and wage increase, an annual adjustment would be applied to submitted base year meal cost. This adjustment would be based on published Department of Labor Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Employment Cost Index (ECI). Total meal cost would =food cost+labor cost.
