This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N00205-98-Q-E102 applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-05 and DAC 91-13. The standard industrial code is 3728 and the business size is 1000 employees. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for one item. This item is required for the repair of the FCS 105 flight control systems on the C130 aircraft (any technical questions should be directed to Ron Irwin, (504)678-3318). Item as follows: line item 0001: adapter, Avionics Specialist Inc part number ASI-40Y-15 or Collins part number 440Y-15 (Qty 5 each); these adapters interconnect the Collins 980L-1A test set and the unit under test; each adapter contains proper loads and relays for a specific flight control systems unit (adapters must work with the following equipment to be tested: Flight control systems 331A-8A/8D,8K and 331A-9G. Delivery of all items is required no later that 10DEC98. Items to be delivered FOB Destination to: Receiving Officer, Bldg 31, Naval Air Station, New Orleans LA 70143.
