The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract N00019-98-C-0110 with Litton Guidance and Control Systems (G&CS) 5500 Canoga Ave., Woodland Hills, CA. 91367, to manufacture and deliver a maximum of one hundred (100) production S-3B Navigation Interface Units (NIU's) developed under contract number N00019-96-C-0209 and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) for factory test equipment. This effort includes delivery of the NIU's with the latest hardware and software configurations approved by the NAVAIR S-3 APM Systems & Engineering. Litton G&CS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and supplier of the NIU developed and integrated into the S-3B navigation upgrade program under contract N00019-96-C-0209. These NIU's are to be provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for inclusion with other specific navigational equipment which has been integrated for this upgrade. As the designer and developer of the initial NIU, Litton G&CS is theonly source that possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data to provide deliveries in the required timely manner.
