Orders will be issued over a three year period commencing on 30 November 1998. Orders will be issued for Engineering Change Kits, Refurbishments, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Materials, Maintenance Support Materials, Repair Parts, Engineering Services and Support for the AN/SLQ-48 (V) Vehicle Handling System (VHS) and Umbilical Cable Handling System (UCHS). Lake Shore Inc. is the only known company which possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
