The contractor will be required to maintain and repair the ammonia refrigeration system, ammonia detection, cooling towers, and all peripheral equipment associated with the system such as, but not limited to, pumps, coils, AHU's, piping, subfloor glycol system, etc. Due to the nature of ammonia and its potential to cause harm, the guidelines within the statement of work (SOW) will be strictly adhered to with numerous reports, filed on a hourly, daily and/or monthly basis. Cold Storage Plant Compressor Room Log will be completed hourly. The maintenance personnel must be certified to work on Frick Equipment and be Factory Certified in Maintenance, Vibration Analysis, Alignment and Frick start up and shut down. The period of performance will be 01 DEC 98 through 31 MAY 99 with 3 option years.
