Duties are to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the confines of the institution will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror determined to be in the best interest of the Government price and other factors considered. The other factors being Education, Work Experience, and Past Performance. Services will be required during the normal work week, with an maximum of thirty (30) sessions per week (1 session = 1 hour), for an estimated maximum of 1353 sessions per year. The base year of the contract will run for 12 months from the date of award with four (4) one year periods for renewal, with an anticipated award date of December 15, 1998. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be mailed approximately October 15, 1998 with an anticipated due date of November 16, 1998. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered for award.
