Roberts, CONTRACTING OFFICER The work consists essentially of painting all ferrous metal surfaces of six (6)primary and one (1) emergency gate, roller covers, all guides for primary and emergency gate locations, conduit liners downstream of the main gate, and gate hoist covers, (inside and out). All items of work shall be cleaned and painted and the work shall include containment, collection, and disposal of removed debris. Each offer shall be required to submit a technical proposal that consists of two (2) factors. These factors are: (1) SSPC Certification and (2) Past Performance. Those firms that are not SSPC certified must submit documentation of thier capabilities to perform the work in accordance with SSPC PCCP certification for QP2. All offerors are advised that they are to submit both a technical proposal and a cost proposal. Award will be made to the firm that meets the above evaluation criteria and has submitted the lowest priced proposal. Those firms that fail to provide clear evidence of SSPC certification, or capabilities to perform the work according to SSPC certification for QP2 will not be considered qualified to perform the work.
