This project was recently advertised asking all potential offerors to submit a proposal to the Los Angeles District, Corps of Engineers -- this is incorrect. This proposed contract is set-aside for small business. JOB DESCRIPTION. Renovate the mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems including utility improvements and demolition of obsolete systems within an Air Force hangar while remaining in operation. Asbestos and Lead Base Paint Abatement are required. SIC CODE. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1542. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17 million. The acquisition method is negotiated procurement. A technical and cost proposal will be required. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of firm that represents the best value to the Government. DESIGN/BUILD.
