Z -- FAMILY HOUSING IMPROVEMENTS, FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA SOL DACA56-99-B-0001 DUE 120198 POC Randy Bratcher, Contracting Division, 918/669-7273 The project consists of revitalization of 328 housing dwelling units constructed in the early 1960's. Scope of interior work includes electrical upgrade of all units and bath upgrades in 156 units by converting one and one half bath units to two full bath configuration. Interior electrical in all 328 units will be rewired to a three wire system to include a new, higher capacity panel box, new components, and ground fault interrupters as required. Exterior improvements include patio and privacy screens, sidewalks, trash enclosures, carports with bulk storage, exterior electrical outlets, energy conservation measures, replacing exterior utilities with underground, replacing sewage systems, water and gas lines, and adding lighted community greenwalk. New bus stops will be added and street signage will be improved. The project includes site preparation and demolition as necessary. Estimated cost range of this project is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about October 29, 1998, and will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROM) free of charge. It has been determined that the number of Compact Disks will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
