The Bureau of Reclamation, PN Regional Office, Boise, Idaho, has a requirement for a server base package. We are looking for a Sun Microsystem Enterprise 3500 Server Base Package or equal. It must be compatible with Facet software. Its salient characteristics are tower enclosure, one Sun CD32, one power/cooling module, one cpu/memory board, two 336-MHz/4-MB Ultrasparc modules, solaris server license. CLIN 002: 1 each 1-Gbyte Memory Expansion (8x12 MB memory modules). CLIN 003: 1 each EXXOO Graphics -I/O board w/two empty Sbus slots, two empty 100 MB/sec FC-AL sockets, one empty UPA slot, one Fast/wide SCSI Interface, one 10/100 MB/sec ethernet (twisted-pair or MII) interface. CLIN 004: 1 each optional FC-AL interface board, includes two GBIC modules, one 2 meter FC-AL cable. CLIN 005: 1 each Power/cooling module, 300W. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to business status, including identification as to whether small, large, minority-owned, and/or woman owned. The size standard is 3571, the standard industrial classification code is 1000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quote, (GSA or open market prices) which will be considered by this agency. This is a full and open competition requirement. This will be awarded by low price once we determine which offer meets our requirements. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
