J -- SOUND SYSTEM REPAIRS (SOURCES SOUGHT) POC Mr. Fernandez, Contracting Officer, 305-536-3051 The United States District Court (USDC), Southern District of Florida, is conducting a market research for services necessary to provide maintenance and repairs as needed to the sound system located in each of the court rooms located throughout the Southern District of Florida, which includes the following locations; Ft Pierce, West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Miami and Key West, Florida. Vendors/contractors shall be required to provide all transportation, labor, tools, facilities, services, equipment, materials, technical expertise, and parts necessary to provide intervening service calls on the aforementioned sound systems. Each of the sound system is integrated with various components from different manufacturers, i.e., ALTC Lansing, Lectrosonics, FSR, Atlas Sound Lear, Shure, Sennheiser, ProCo, Elco, JBL and Radio Design Labs. Response time to service calls are considered paramount to the operations of the U.S. District Court, therefore, the USDC prefers to have qualified respondents located within 50 miles from each of the locations previously mentioned. Vendors/contractors located outside the 50 miles radius may not be considered. Vendors/contractors interested shall send a letter stating qualifications, preferably substantiated with training certificates, manufacturer's certifications, references (minimum of three), a list of projects accomplished within the last five years along with a brief description of the equipment repaired/installed, and any other pertinent information. The USDC may negotiate one or more Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) per location, depending on the number of qualified respondents received within the parameter previoulsy stated.
