Orders will be issued over a three year period commencing 30 November 1998 for engineering change kits, refurbishments, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Materials, maintenance support materials, repair parts, engineering services and support for the OK-520/SQQ Common Winch. Crane Defense Systems is the current producer and the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the OK-520/SQQ Common Winch. It is the only known company which possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
