S -- CELLULAR AIR TIME SOL N00406-99-R-5000 DUE 103098 POC Julie Peterson 360-476-5004 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound FISCPS intends to solicit, negotiate and award a requirements contract for cellular air time for use with 20 analog phones in support of FISCPS Customer Support. The contract will be for a Base Year period of performance from 1 January through 31 December 1999 with one option year to be exercised solely at the Government's discretion. The solicitation will establish a not-to-exceed dollar value for both long distance and roaming charges. The contractor will be required to provide pricing for the estimated annual requirements of 14,000 minutes peak air time, 8,000 minutes off-peak air time, monthly line charges and toll saver feature. The usage patterns are such that the Government requires the ability to deactivate the phones for extended periods of time, but maintain the same phone number when reactivated. This acquisition will be made using FAR Parts 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition respectively.
