The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for an Architect/Engineering firm to design two(2) 150 bed high security housing units for the United States Penitentiary in Marion Illinois. The project includes the design and all related professional services for two (2) fully functional housing units. Services consist of performing an environmental assessment: the development of construction documents; specifications; cost estimates; life cycle cost analysis; bidding; construction administration; inspection; and mediation between the Bureau of Prisons any any applicable governing agencies for a project of this type. The estimated cost of construction is between 15,000,000 and 20,000,000 dollars. Consideration will be limited to firms licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and located within a 200 mile radius of Marion, Illinois. Selection of firms to be interviewed will be based on thefollowing evaluation factors: Firm's Capacity and Capability (30%), Proposed Project Team and Organization (40%), and Experience and Past Performa nce (30%).
