In addition to the above, there are 15 Extended Vane Replacement (EVR) items for the N2 Vane & Shrouds. The best estimated quantities (BEQ) for these items are minimal, not exceeding 10 per year. The N1 (low speed) Vane & Shroud items are manufactured in halves and are approx 30.250 inched OD by 19.400 inches ID by 4.017 inches thick. The material is AMS 5504 and 5613 corrosion and heat resistant steel. The N2 (high speed) Vane & Shroud items are approx 27.745 inches OD by 19.333 inches ID by 2.643 inches thick. The material is AMS 5504 and AMS 5613 corrosion and heat resistant steel. Vane and shroud feature inner and outer shrouds connected by equally spaced vanes. The vane and shroud directs air at an angle to compressor blades. These items shall be repaired IAW the directions of the Statement of Work (SOW) included in the solicitation and IAW Technical Order Series 2J-TF33-53. Briefly the repair consists of stripping the coating, removal of air seal, vane replacement, welding of outer shroud, recoating and reinstallation of the air seal. The N1 Vane & Shouds must be kept together as a matched set during the machining and shipping. There is no Government Furnished Tooling. Deliveries are to Tinker AFB, OK.
