George/Pkwtp/[937]257-7298 Construction Refurbishment, Aeronautical Systems Center, Foreign Military Sales Office (ASC/PKWTP) is contemplating the acquisition of one (1) construction requirement at King Fahad Air base in Taif, Saudi Arabia. This 240 day acquisition encompasses the design and construction of a new F-15 Pull-Thru Washrack utilizing an existing concrete apron with an abutting asphalt taxiway. Electrical and water service for the new facility must be provided from nearby existing utility lines. Sanitary and storm drainage must also be provided along with the treatment of used wash water to minimize both short and long term environmental impact. The estimated cost of the proposed acquisition is between $ 500,000 and $1,000,000. The contract type anticipated is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). The contractor shall provide labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform this effort. The successful contractor must possess a current Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce Commercial Registration. Therefore, only those registered to do business in Saudi Arabia will be considered for award. The closing date for submission of proposals is 45 days from release of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
