Removal and disposal of existing pressure filters and piping. Provision of temporary potable water service to the Community during transition to the new treatment system. Replace of existing telemetry control system. Replace intake and high service pumps and pump control systems. Complete various building improvements including office addition, septic tank system, chemical room renovation, doors, electrical improvements, heating system improvements, clearwell baffling, and other items described in this specifications. Replacement of the chemical injection system. Provide water quality information, manufacturer's instruction manuals, and as-constructed drawings in the Community of Fort Thompson, on the Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Buffalo County, South Dakota. This will be a fixed-price contract. Duration of the contract will be one-hunred twenty (120) days from the date of Notice To Proceed. IFB 241-99-BI-3458 will be available approximately fifteen (15) days after publication. There will be a non-refundable charge of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) for solicitation documents. Project magnitude is $200,000.00 to $500,000.00. The proposed acquisition listed herein is to award to an Indian-owned firm pursuant to the Buy-Indian Act.
