The National Park Service is solicitating proposals in the form of a negotiated firm-fixed price contract requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's capability in comparison to its price. The work of this contract consists of improvements to provide security system upgrades at Mount Rushmore National Memorial (Memorial). Procurement and installation of a new Radio Communications System for public safety and other personnel communications needs. The Radio Communications System includes a 60 ft self-supporting tower site, a tower located base station, desktop remote control units located in the Administration Building, and desktop control stations. The Contractor shall provide and install all necessary hardware, software, etc. to provide full control and operation of the tower located base station from the desktop remote control units in the Administration Building over a fiber optic link utilizing Government furnished cable. Contractor shall provide and install all conduit, wiring, and any other interface equipment necessary at both ends of the fiber optic link to provide connection and interface of the desktop remote control units to the base station equipment. -- Estimated price range, $100,000 to $250,000. -- Time for completion, 280 calendar days. -- Offer response date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time documents are available. -- All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
