It has been determined to be in the best interest of the Government to cancel solicitation number F08651-98-B-0052 and resolicit the requirement under solicitation number F08651-99-Q-0239. Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Construct Three (3) Bus Shelters in Plew Residential Park Housing Area, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work includes furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and all operations in connection with the construction of three (3) bus shelters in Plew Residential Park Housing Area; Earthwork as required for preparation of bus shelter sites; Providing, assembling and installing all items of the precast bus shelters; Painting of all metal surfaces of the bus shelters; Removal of all debris, cleaning up bus shelter sites, grading as necessary to remove surface irregularities and sodding of certain adjacent areas. Performance period is 60 calendar days. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bid opening date of 9 Nov 98 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after bid opening with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
