SOURCES SOUGHT: Sources are being sought for a contractor to provide roof repair, new roofing and waterproofing on various facilities on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. There are over 11 different roof types on Vandenberg AFB, some of which include Gravel-Surface Hot & Cold Asphalt Built-up Roofing System, Smooth-Surface Hot & Cold Asphalt Built-up Roofing System, Modified Bitumen Systems, APP and SBS, Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM), Fiberglass Shingles, Wood Shakes, Roofing Tiles (Concrete and Clay), Sheet Metal, Metal Standing Seam Systems, Sealed Seam Steel Roofing Panel Systems, and Fluid Applied Elastomeric Roof Coatings. Exterior waterproofing will be required as well, which will entail repairing different masonry, metal and other exterior surfaces prior to applying different coatings for water proofing exteriors. Also some excavations may be required around foundations and footers of facilities to correct water penetration problems. Award of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The period of performance is a one-year base period and 4 option periods (1 year each) for a total of 5 years. SIC Code is 1761. Two (2) separate contracts may be awarded.
