This is a sources sought synopsis for Installation Deployable Automated Security Systems (IDASS). No solicitation will be issued until this market research effort has been completed. The IDASS should be composed of currently available Commercial- Off-the-Shelf hardware and software to ensure the user has the best performance/cost ratio that industry can offer. Respondees to this announcement must have experience in the design and fielding of portable security systems for the protection of critical assets, including extensive team expertise in the following areas: physical security systems; sensor hardware; intrusion detection systems (internal and external electronics sensor systems); and computerized command, control and annunciator systems. Respondees are encouraged to submit product literature, drawings, specification, cuts, illustrations, and corporate history to demonstrate ability to meet the Initial Statement of Requirement for IDASS, which can be found on Crane's homepage at http://www.crane.navy.mil/Supply/fs_acq.htm. Following review of information submitted by respondees, the Government may request a capability demonstration of respondees' systems.
