The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's capability in comparison to its price. The work of this contract consists of the general construction of a reclaimed water system which includes connections to the existing reclaimed supply lines, a pump installation, reclaimed water mains, connections to existing portions of the reclaimed mains, a 250,000 gallon reclaimed water storage reservoir, valves, drains, and an air relief valve. Also included are electrical power, telephone, and cable conduits, and water and reclaimed water main branches to supply utilities for the proposed Mather Transportation Center. Emergency generators for the pumping installation and for a sewage lift station are also included. -- Estimated price range, $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 -- Time for completion, 450 calendar days. -- Bid opening date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time bidding documents are available. -- All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
