A -- DTRA ACQUISITION OFFICE STAND-U[ POC Thomas McCabe, Competition Advocate, (305) 326-8625 The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Acquisition Management Office was established on 1 Oct 98. Procurement authority and functions previously held and performed by the acquisition offices of the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) and On Site Inspection Agency (OSIA) will transition to the new DTRA Acquisition Management Office DTRA AM) located at 45045 Aviation Drive, Dulles VA 20166-7517 beginning 1 Oct 98. All contractural actions previously managed by either DSWA or OSIA will become the responsibility of DTRA. DTRA AM will also provide support for other DTRA elements (e.g. Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA)) previously supported by external acquisition offices. DTRA will also maintain a satellite acquisition office at the following locations: DTRA AM, 6801 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310-3397; and DTRA AM, 1680 Texas Street, Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM 87117-5669. No Changes to existing contracts or grants are intended by this notice; required modifications to existing contracts and grants will be issued as necessary. Points of contact on existing procurement actions will remain the same unless you are specifically notified otherwise. Location for delivery of proposals on pending solicitations remains unchanged from that stated in individual Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
