issue an order, under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-96-G-0023
with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729,
Stratford, Connecticut 06497-9129, for services required to demonstrate
Airborne Mine Countermeasure (AMCM) capabilities of the CH-60
helicopter as a replacement for the MH-53. Utilizing a variant of the
Army UH-60 and Navy SH-60, this demonstration will require procuring
related engineering investigations, studies and reports, logistics
support prototype assembly, and nonrecurring engineering. As the
developer and sole manufacturer of the of Army UH-60 and the Navy
SH-60, Sikorsky is the only source possessing the expertise, technical
data, equipment, and experienced personnel necessary to perform the
required demonstration, engineering studies, and logistics support
