X -- CTR CONSOLIDATION WAREHOUSE SOL DTRA01-99-Q-0001 DUE 112398 POC Michael Jackson, Negotiator, (703) 810-4614, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-8506 The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), (formerly the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA)), has a requirement for Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Consolidation Warehouse. The Statement of Work (SOW) for this effort specifies tasks required to support the CTR Program to assist in the transportation, storage, dismantlement, safeguarding, and/or destruction of weapons of mass destruction. The scope of the SOW is to provide the CTR Program support by storing, consolidating, and packing of CTR cargo. The contractor shall provide for the warehousing, storage and consolidation of cargo into shipments, shall provide estimates of containers, shipping documentation, inventory services, packing of cargo and stuffing of containers for overseas transit. To efficiently meet these requirements the contractor shall establish and maintain a reporting system of cargo on-hand and periodically report current balances. Provisions shall be made to periodically inventory all on-hand material for accountability purposes. THIS PROCUREMENT HAS BEEN SET ASIDE FOR A SMALL BUSINESS ONLY COMPETITION. The winning contractor must have a warehouse that is located within seven miles of the Dulles International Airport Facility.
