GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The work includes the demolition and removal of a building; the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials, PCB containing light ballasts, and lead containing paint; the relocation of miscellaneous instruments and controls; the removal of portions of flue gas stacks, piping, conduit and miscellaneous instruments and cabinets; the provision of excavation and backfilling, building and equipment foundations, boiler, breeching and steel stack, cast-in-place concrete work, pre-engineered building, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, waterproofing, insulation, steel doors and frames, finish hardware, painting, ventilation, fire protection sprinkler systems, boiler installation, boiler trim, piping systems, drain systems, interior lighting systems, interior power wiring systems, fire alarm systems, lighting protection, closed circuit television system, central control systems and district steam pressure reducing station and condensate return equipment; and incidental related work. Estimated cost range is $2,500,000 -- $5,000,000. The SIC Cide is 1711 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million are applicable to this contract.
