Peifer, Contract Specialist, 717-770-4613 The Memphis Depot Caretaker located at 2163 Airways Blvd., Memphis, TN 38114-5000 has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract for roofing requirements. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, equipment, appliances, transportation, fuel supplies, materials, labor, (except any materials, equipment, or service, if any specified in the specifications to be furnished by the Government) and performing all operations in connection with providing roofing requirements, including but not limited to, demolition, selective demolition, metal decking, rough carpentry, insulation, shingles, built up roofing, elastomeric roofing roof maintenance and repairs, sheet metal work and sealants. Delivery orders issued under any resultant contract will specify the work to be performed, the specific location of work at the Memphis depot, and will include the necessary drawing(s) and/or sketch(s) applicable to the specified scope of work. Performance time will also be specified on each delivery order. The Defense Distribution Depot Memphis has been closed under the Base Realignment and Closure program. The Government is working to establish a Cooperative Agreement with the Depot Redevelopment Corporation whereby control of the facility, i.e., building maintenance, will be transferred. The exact time frame for this transfer is unknown, therefore, since the Government is still responsible for managing the facility, this solicitation is being issued to cover any roofing requirements that may arise prior to the transfer. However, due to the above situation, prospective bidders should be aware that delivery order(s) may not be issued against any resultant contract. Contract period is anticipated to be from date of award through one year with one option year period. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 total for the base year period and the option year period.
